for our Local Physically Disabled

As a part of our ongoing support for local area charities, we were
delighted to welcome Rose Welford to our Club Meeting on November 8th. Rose is the very active Secretary of the local Physically Disabled Peoples' League (PDPL) and is seen here receiving a cheque for £450 from President Ken Johnston that will assist in providing transportation for members holiday trips over the coming months. Club Fellow, Peter Neaves (left) is our principal contact with Rose and co-ordinates our monthly transportation rota to take PDPL members from our area to and from their monthly social evenings. |
