Mrs. Brenda Murphy - Paul Harris Fellowship

One of the highest distinctions that Rotary in the UK can bestow to outstanding individuals is a Paul Harris Fellowship. Our latest award was presented to Mrs. Brenda Murphy, Secretary of the Hounslow Branch of The Multiple Sclerosis which is based in Heston, West London.

The award was presented to Brenda at an extra large Club meeting of 63 persons in front of Fellows and their partners from the H&I Club together with 17 visiting Rotarians and Partners from the Twickenham-On-Thames Club and not least, Len Smith (PP. RIBI) of The Rotary Club of Twickenham: (mother club of Twickenham-On- Thames) and his wife Joy.

In his introduction, Rtn, Colin Wade highlighted Brenda's outstanding list of skills, talents and achievements that have resulted in the Hounslow Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society becoming one of the Top 10 branches in the UK

President Norman Ashby, seen here presenting Brenda with her Fellowship, gave an eloquent explanation of the significance of the Paul Harris Fellowship in the UK and thanked her for the huge difference that she has made to 'Quality of Life' for MS Sufferers and their carers in our part of West London.
