At the Club Christmas Party held at the home of Past President Norman Ashby, President Michael De Cort made a surprise announcement in the form of a Paul Harris Fellowship award for Club Fellow Brian Thompson.

Seen here and accompanied by his wife, Helen, Michael described Brian as an exemplary Rotarian who has worked tirelessly for the club and for our community throughout his entire time in the Rotary Club of Heston & Isleworth.

In addition to being Club President in 1997/8 Brian has served as Club Secretary for two periods of three years each.
