Indian Meal Day raises £2362 
for The Shooting Star Children's Hospice

On Sunday March 21st 2004, promoted by the Rotary Club of Heston & Isleworth, the Director and Staff of the Memories of India Restaurant in Thornbury Road, Osterley, opened their doors for an 'all day Indian Meal event in aid of the the Shooting Star Children's Hospice. Mr Moyz Uddin, the restaurant Director, generously agreed to donate the entire days profits to the charity and the magnificent sum of £2362 was raised.

Prior to our club meeting on Tuesday April 13, our President Richard accompanied by a number of club fellows met at the restaurant for the official cheque presentation to Mr Dalton Leong, Deputy Chief Executive of the Shooting Star Children's Hospice.

To mark the occasion, President Richard presented a certificate of appreciation to restaurant director Moyez (top right)
