Heston & Isleworth donates £1000 to The Down's Syndrome Association.

On Tuesday March 25th the Club was pleased to welcome Liz England, Secretary of the West Middlesex, Surrey and West Sussex Branch of the Down's Syndrome Association.

Liz gave us a fascinating and insightful talk on the syndrome and of the progress being made to provide special coaching in normal schools to facilitate the learning process for Down's Children.

Club President Norman Ashby is seen here presenting a £1000 cheque to Liz for the local branch which will allow them to progress urgently needed informational videos for parents and teachers of Down's Syndrome Children and young adults.
