For two weeks during March, local
Rotary Clubs provide 'hands-on' service to local schools as part of
their Junior Citizenship training. Schools from across the London Borough of Hounslow came to Feltham Fire Station to participate in ten interactive learning exercises. Mike Coombe of the Heston & Isleworth Rotary Club is seen here questioning the youngsters from Chatsworth School on their investigation into a road collision between a car and a cyclist. After thoroughly investigating the scene, the youngsters had to identify as many of the potential contributory causes as possible. Below left: The train station safety exercise. |
