Maureen Whiting retires from the Osterley Park Hotel.

Updated 7th April 2004

After some xx years of working at the Osterley Hotel (in its various guises), our dear friend and senior waitress Maureen Whiting has finally retired and is moving to the South Coast to be close to her family.

If ever a Rotary Club had a true friend, it was Maureen and she contributed so much to our enjoyment of our weekly meetings at the Hotel.

Always ready and willing to 'go the extra mile' Maureen not only supported our activities but was frequently part of our team efforts when collecting for our local charities.

A Few weeks ago, Maureen was guest of Honour at one of our meetings and, last night (April 6th)  to mark the club's gratitude, she was presented with an inscribed glass dome 8 day pendulum clock by President Richard accompanied by Founder President Bruce Fenn.
