Wheelchair Ramps make a Holiday Dream Come True

The Rotary Club of
Heston & Isleworth

22 October 2003

The Rotary Club of Heston & Isleworth 'lent a hand' to make a holiday possible for a young
severely disabled lady (whom we have previously taken to 'Kid Out') to have a holiday this year. Despite the availability of a vehicle for transportation, ramps were needed to allow Natalie to gain access
whilst seated in her wheelchair.

Natalie's mother Pat contacted the club via our website and Ken Johnston (Community Service Chairman) and his team swung into action. The result: - ramps were purchased and installed in time for Natalie to enjoy her holiday. The following photos were went to us by Pat  who says "having the ramps has made a huge difference to her quality of life - she is so much better and happier now that we are mobile; it's just amazing!".
